• Appearance

  Tan with dark bands of chocolate brown. First discovered in 1965 after a flood took out the Union Pacific Railroad and U.S. Highway 97. The mine was operated by Fred Dormaier during his life. It is still owned by the Dormaier family but is currently inactive.
