Madagascar, Myanmar (Burma), North America, former USSR and Sweden.
Light green to bright emerald green. First discovered in 1879 by W.E. Hidden in North Carolina. The town where it was discovered was later named to Hiddenite, North Carolina.
Hiddenite is rarely irradiated to produce green color.
