  • Appearance

    Color change sapphires are very interesting gemstones. Like alexandrite, the color appears different depending on the type of light present. Outdoors in sunlight they appear bright blue. Indoors they turn violet like fine amethyst. Other color change combinations exist, such as blue to green.

  • Enhancements

    Color change sapphire is always heat treated to produce, intensify or lighten color and/or improve color uniformity and appearance.
